Harts Farm Way is a modern road on the southern edge of Havant, running through a commercial and light industrial area between the town centre and Langstone Harbour. The road provides access to retail outlets, trade counters and business premises in the Solent Road and Brockhurst Gate area. The road is functional rather than picturesque, serving commercial traffic and shoppers heading for the out-of-town retail units. However, the southern end of Harts Farm Way is close to the harbour shore, and the transition from retail park to open harbour is surprisingly abrupt. The road connects to the A27 and provides access to the wider road network.
