Park Road runs north from the town centre towards the Leigh Park area, passing Havant Park on its western side. The road is residential, lined with a mix of inter-war semis, terraced houses and some post-war development. Havant Park, a public green space with a playground and open grass, is the main feature of the street. The road connects the town centre to the northern residential areas and carries local traffic heading towards Leigh Park and the schools in the area. Properties on Park Road are among the more affordable in central Havant, and the street has a practical, community character. The park provides a welcome break in the built-up frontage and is well used by families, dog walkers and residents taking a break from the surrounding streets.
