Havant Museum is a small local history museum on East Street, telling the story of the town from its origins at the springs through the medieval market era, the parchment trade and the arrival of the railway. Exhibits cover local archaeology, the natural history of the harbour area and the social history of the borough. The museum is run by volunteers and opens on selected days. It provides an accessible introduction to Havant's long history for residents and visitors alike.
